This short course will teach students how to develop a comprehensive research report (e.g., journal article, grant proposal, technical report, etc.) including; develop a problem statement, develop research questions and hypotheses about the problem; perform a literature review; develop a methodology to solve the problem and determine if the hypotheses is supported; analyze the results and draw conclusions based on the data; and make recommendations or document the contribution of the work to the recipient (e.g., technical community, academic community, funding agency, etc.).
