Course Description

During this intensive, half-day session, participants will move beyond simple self-awareness to understand the behavioral nuances that influence team success. Through a mix of guided instruction and group exercises, the course covers the four DiSC dimensions—Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness—and demonstrates how to adapt communication strategies to build stronger, more effective professional relationships.

Key Learning Objectives & Highlights:

Participants will explore the fundamentals of DiSC and learn how to apply these concepts to improve organizational performance. You will learn how to:

  • Understand DiSC Dimensions: Learn the core characteristics of each of the four DiSC styles.
  • Identify Personal Style: Discover your individual behavioral tendencies and how they influence your approach to work.
  • Improve Communication: Practice techniques for adapting your communication style to connect more effectively with different personality types.
  • Enhance Team Collaboration: Learn how to leverage the diverse strengths within a team to increase synergy and reduce interpersonal friction.
  • Manage Conflict: Develop strategies to address and resolve conflicts by understanding the underlying motivators and stressors of different styles.

About the Instructor

Chad Arcand brings over 25 years of hands-on experience leading operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and comprehensive lean transformations. His diverse background spans early-stage growth companies, complex corporate acquisition integrations, and scaling operations across both small and large-scale enterprises.

Having held multiple leadership roles with global, multi-location responsibilities, Chad has successfully led, taught, and mentored cross-functional project teams across a wide spectrum of industries.
